How much caffeine does matcha contain?

A standard serving of matcha (1–2 teaspoons) contains approximately 60–80mg of caffeine — roughly half that of a cup of coffee. Matcha also contains L-theanine, an amino acid that promotes calm, sustained focus and smooths out the energy curve, preventing the jitters and crash often associated with coffee.

How long does matcha stay fresh?
